Episode # 322 - FRIGID New York Festival Preview

FRIGID New York 2010 logo
FRIGID New York, as its name implies, is the winter theatre festival becoming more interesting each year. The festival is held at the Three Horse Trade Theaters and is the brainchild of Horse Trade’s Managing Director, Erez Ziv. Erez is Martin Denton’s guest for this special FRIGID New York podcast.
Martin prompts Erez to talk a bit about each of the 30 participants and their shows and the neighborhood around the venues for the festival. The Kraine and The Red Room share a building and Under St. Marks is just a few minutes walk away – all in the East Village.
Most interesting is how the shows are chosen; this is a non-curated festival. Don’t miss the special offer Erez throws out to attendees at the end of the podcast. The intrepid theatergoer can really save.
