Trav S. D., host of the nytheatrecast, has a great time on this episode speaking with several of the performers who will be seen at Dixon Place over the next few months. Leslie Strongwater is Director of Programming at Dixon Place and Trav begins by speaking with her. (Leslie with wrap up the episode with a very short commercial for the space.)

Kate Brehm tells Trav about her upcoming Fireside Puppet Chats which she will moderate. And Clay MacLeod Chapman has written the book for a new musical Julian Eltinge with music by Rick Sorkin and with Jeff Marsh in the title role and all three enthusiastically tell us what it's all about. Jonny Cigar is an artist in residence at Dixon Place and listening to him, you know why.

Trav himself will be the opening act for Julia Pearlstein, where he will recount what he calls humorous tales. He introduces Julia to describe her show Weep Screed, a farce-in-progress about a life in retrograde. Listening to these performers is a great prelude to seeing their shows.
