On this new episode Martin Denton speaks with Chris Harcum and Matthew AJ Gregory about their new production of The Hypochondriac. Chris and Matthew are two of the several adaptors of this play based on Moliere's The Imaginary Invalid.In addition, Chris will be playing the lead role and Matthew is the director.
Taking turns, Chris and Matthew talk about their vision of the play and how they both feel it is so very relevant to today's times. They discuss how they went about writing the adaptation so as to bring it up to date without losing the original qualities of farce and comedy.
Most interesting is the back story Chris has created for his character.
