Episode # 310 - Street Lights at New York Musical Theatre Festival

Ryan J. Davis and Joe Drymala
Ryan Davis and Joe Drymala were guests on one of our earliest podcasts when their musical, White Noise was part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2006. They return to talk about Street Lights as part of this year's Festival. Joe wrote the music, lyrics, and book; Ryan is the director and co-producer.
Joe talks about what inspired him to write the show and both give us a quick summary of what the show is like. As Ryan says, It's all about community. Martin Denton, as moderator, urges them on to talk also about all the good things that have happened with White Noise and the plans already in place for Street Lights.
Ryan and Joe brought a sample of one of the songs, "Georgetown" that's inserted in the podcast. Gives a real feel for the show.
