Episode # 302 - Playwrights in Conversation: Trav S.D. & John Clancy

John Clancy and Trav S.D.
This concludes nytheatrecast's three part series of Playwrights in Conversation FringeNYC edition. And we close with Trav SD talking with John Clancy. Who interviews whom is anyone's guess. Trav SD, in addition to being the host of the nytheatrecasts is also the author of the upcoming FringeNYC show, Willy Nilly and we learn in the course of this episode, he also will be appearing in the production. It's produced by Piper McKenzie Productions.
John Clancy is the co-founder of the Festival, an award winning director, and runs his own company, Clancy Productions. John's latest play that he wrote and is directing, The Event will be at FringeNYC and almost simultaneously (with a different actor) at the Edinburgh Fringe. John and Trav SD talk about their plays, about the beginnings of FringeNYC, and their playwriting careers.
Hopefully you have enjoyed our little miniseries: Mac Rogers (Viral) in conversation with Matt Freeman, Todd Michael (Buddy Becker's Big Uncut Flick) with Lisa Ferber, and this grand finale, Trav SD (Willy Nilly) and John Clancy (The Event). This is just a sampling of the 200+ shows at FringeNYC. Get your tickets and enjoy!
