In this episode of Playwrights in Conversation, Crystal Skillman talks to Daniel Talbott about his new play Slipping soon to open at the Rattlestick Theatre. Crystal has worked with Daniel for several years and he has directed many of her plays for his theatre company, Rising Phoenix Rep.
Crystal asks Daniel about his earliest training as an actor which led to his admittance to Julliard in their acting program. It was during this time that Daniel began work on this play. They talk about the play and about the development of this play with the help of many friends and colleagues, ending with a production in Chicago this past spring.
Crystal also questions Daniel about a new play he is writing. We also hear about some of Crystal's future endeavors.
